Fine Art in the Village of Northville.  Newly opened in the Spring of 2010, Bellwether Studio is the latest addition at The Orendaga on Northville Lake.  Innkeepers and Artists, Michael Intrabartola & Michele Drozd create one-of-a-kind pottery pieces and thoughtfully designed tableware in porcelain.  A distinct eye for design paired with fine craftsmanship, and a refined love of food:  from garden to table - is brought together in functional, affordable fine art.  The result is a rare find.

The Path of Learning.  Thirty-some combined years of study, making, experimentation, studio design, apprenticeships, exhibitions, travel, hard work, kiln firings, kiln building, handbuilding, throwing, tiling, carpentry, reading, looking, teaching, renovating, success and failure...culminate here.  A studio was built to foster creativity, to carry on in the traditions of generations, and to begin our own. 

Our on-premises studio offers a unique opportunity for guests to view the pottery process, schedule a private lesson, use our work during your stay, and shop in the gallery.  While in town, we welcome you to stop in the studio and see our work, pick up information on classes & workshops...even schedule a private lesson
