In the “old motel” we offer two new, separate, spacious, one bedroom Suites. Named for the Great Blue Heron that lingers along the shoreline of the Northville Lake, each Suite has its own grace and style. With wide-plank pine floors, reclaimed antique windows, our largest bedrooms, perfect kitchenettes (w/o stove), and private baths with artisan organic soaps. Suite No. One is accented with rich reds, and Suite No. Two is finished in calm greens.
Seasonal fresh cut flowers and a complementary selection of organic and fair trade coffee and tea are on your dining table. A beautiful collection of our handmade cups are in the kitchenette for guests to use. The living rooms have Cable TV, a (full size) futon for an additional guest, and a varied collection of artwork hangs on the walls. The large, open front porch looks out to the lawn, gardens, and lake with wicker seating and porch blankets.
The Suites have ceiling fans for Summer comfort and heat for the Winter months. Bring your skis or snowshoes and explore the expansive frozen lakes, wilderness trails, and resorts from here! A stay in The Blue Heron Suites is an ideal, year round treat. The Suite can accommodate 2-3 guests with one bedroom (queen bed) and a futon pull-out (double).
$125 per night, double occupancy. $10 - $25 per night for each additional guest over two (children $10, adults $25). Tax additional. Two or three night minimums may apply holiday weekends. Weekly discount available.
