CABINS & SUITES: The Bluebird Cabin

Neighbor to The Whippoorwill, the elegant Bluebird Cabin sits across the lawn from the lake and provides a great view of the grounds from the screened in porch. This cabin has richly stained pine floors, a cathedral ceiling with rough sawn beams, and spiral stairs leading to the loft.
The bath w/shower boasts traditional wainscoting, a natural slate shower, and complementary artisan organic bar soaps. The living room has a true cottage feel with large, antique divided light windows that bring in the bright afternoon sun, and an original stone fireplace with an electric insert to provide warmth and atmosphere at the touch of a button.
Vintage maps, photography, and custom artwork share space on the painted pine walls, and fresh seasonal flowers are on the mantle. Organic and Fair Trade coffee and tea are provided in the spacious, open, fully equipped kitchen along with a beautiful collection of our handmade ceramic cups and mugs. The Bluebird is heated and available Spring through Fall. The cabin can accommodate up to five guests with two bedrooms (one queen and one twin) and a loft (two twins).
