Blue Heron Suite No. 2
The beautifully renovated “old motel” houses our Blue Heron Suites. This is a classic Adirondack building, repurposed with an eye for craftsmanship and comfort. Named for the Great Blue Heron that lingers along the shoreline of the Northville Lake, each Suite has its own grace and style. A stay in the Suites is an ideal treat...with wide-plank pine floors, reclaimed antique windows, our largest bedrooms, perfect kitchenettes, and a large, open front porch that looks out to the lawn, lake, and gardens.
Blue Heron Suite No. 1 is a two room suite accented with rich reds and blues. The bathroom w/shower is located within the Queen bedroom. The Kitchenette has a beautiful collection of our handmade cups and mugs, and fresh cut flowers grace the dining table. The comfortable living room has a large gas fireplace with marble surround, cable television, a (full size) featherbed topped futon for an additional guest, and a varied collection of artwork on the walls.
The Blue Heron Suites have ceiling fans for Summer comfort and heat for the Winter months. The suite can accommodate 2-3 guests with one bedroom (queen bed) and a futon pull-out (double, with down featherbed). Please advise us in advance if you would like the futon made up prior to your arrival.
