FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Is the property family friendly?
Yes! The Orendaga is an ideal Inn for families.
However, please note that our Cabins are
not child "proof" and children must be
supervised at all times.

Do you have air conditioning?
No.  The Cabins & Suites are shaded by mature
trees and stay quite comfortable even on the
hottest Adirondack days.  We value fresh air
and provide ceiling & table fans to catch the
summer breezes.

Can we swim in the Northville Lake?
Yes!  Motorized boats are not allowed on the
Northville Lake, which is perfect for kayakers
and swimmers.  We have a swimming area and
dock at our private beach.

To complete a reservation we require a credit card deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation for one or two night stays. A 1/3 deposit is required for reservations of three nights or longer. A receipt and confirmation will be promptly emailed with your reservation details.  A reservation is not guaranteed until a deposit is received.  


VISA, MC, AMERICAN EXPRESS, OR DISCOVER CARD, personal checks, traveler's checks, and cash are all accepted at check-in.

NEW!  BREAKFAST:  
A buffet breakfast is available for guests Thursday through Sunday mornings at our sister property, the Inn at the Bridge.  Hours change seasonally, please call ahead for reservations (required).  518.863.8013.

 



CANCELLATIONS: Should you need to cancel all or part of your reservation, please do so as soon as possible.  We require 14 day advance notice of your arrival date to receive a refund of the deposit (minus a $25 cancellation fee per Cabin and Suite reserved).  For cancellations within 14 days of your reservation, no refund can be issued. Within 3 days of the arrival date, you are responsible for the entire reservation unless we are able to re-rent the Cabin or Suite.  Late arrivals & early departures are considered cancellations and are subject to the same policies.   
Certain times of the year allow us to be more lenient on the policy, and we may be able to issue you a credit toward a future stay at our discretion.  We do need to maintain a business policy, even in the event of poor weather or last minute problems or circumstances.



CHECK-IN is from 3PM to 6PM. Please call ahead if other arrangements are required.
CHECK-OUT is 10AM.  
Arrangements for an early check-in or late check-out (1 hour) must be made in advance to avoid additional charges.

Please note:  cellular phone service is somewhat unreliable in Northville.  We will gladly take phone messages for guests during office hours.



GUEST POLICIES:
BY MAKING A RESERVATION YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR POLICIES AS STATED BELOW.  Non compliance may result in additional charges.
 

  • Our property & amenities are intended solely for use by our guests. Picnics and private parties cannot be accommodated. If you would like to have visitors during your stay, please contact us in advance with all requests. We require all visitors to check in at the office upon arrival.
  • We do not have a lifeguard at the lake.  The waterfront brochure (available at the front desk) must be read and signed before swimming or boating.  For the safety of swimmers, fishing is not permitted from our beach.
  • Absolutely No Pets, Please!  Disregard of this policy will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $200.
  • Smoking is not permitted in any of our buildings or screened porches.  Disregard of our request will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $300. 
  • We ask all guests to be quiet after 9p.m. and respectful of all guests and neighbors at all hours of the day.
  • Children must be supervised at all times as the rooms are not "child-proof"
  • We request that while enjoying the Cabins & Suites, you treat the rooms and our property with the respect and care that we have.  Please note that you will be billed for any damages (beyond that of normal wear and tear), excessive cleaning, or missing items.  
  • Owners are not responsible for accidents, injury, or loss of property.


DIRECTIONS:

NY State Thruway (Rt. 90) to Exit 27 for Amsterdam. Follow Rt. 30 North toward Northville. Turn Right onto the Northville Bridge (Bridge St.) and continue into town. At the stop sign, Turn Right on Main St., continue out of town and over a small spillway bridge. The Orendaga will be on the left as you begin heading up the hill.
