The Bluebird Cabin

Neighbor to The Whippoorwill Cabin, the Bluebird Cabin sits across the lawn from the Northville Lake and provides a great view of the grounds from the screened-in porch. This cabin has painted log siding, dark stained pine floors, a cathedral ceiling, and spiral stairs leading to a cozy loft. The living room has tall, antique windows that bring in the bright afternoon sun, comfortable seating, and an original stone fireplace with an electric insert to provide warmth and atmosphere on cool evenings; fans provide summer comfort. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room, and the bathroom is highlighted by a natural slate shower. This is a comfortable Adirondack cottage, with modern touches.

The Bluebird is heated and available early spring through late fall. The cabin can accommodate up to five guests with two bedrooms (one with a queen size bed, and one with a single twin bed) and a loft (with two twin beds). There is a pull-out couch in the living room for an extra sleeping area; please let us know in advance if you would like the sofa bed made up prior to your arrival. This is the best cabin for a family of five.
